Gettysburg

We took a trip up to Gettysburg. It was about an hour and half drive so we thought it was worth the trip. We did the battlefield first, which we probably should have started out in the museum, but we didn't realize there was so much to do in there until the end. We spent a couple hours walking around the battlefield. It covers 10 square miles, not that we walked that far but there was a lot to see. 

 Walking down to the museum. We watched a couple shows in the museum and that was about all the boys could handle. 

 They had a great picnic area out on a patio that we stopped and ate our lunch. 

 These next few pictures are Trevor's great photography skills. 

 We invited Josh (another graduate student from Tech that was there for an internship) so we all squeezed into our car. I was lucky enough to have the back seat in between the boys :). 

 Logan didn't make it very far in the car before he passed out. 

 We stopped at an apple orchard on the way home to see if they had some apple pies. They had something similar but not quite like the fried pies in north Georgia. They did have some fresh apple cider though, and that's always worth the stop.
