Christmas Break

Christmas break is definitely one of the biggest perks of having Dave in school. Even though he still works on research, he has a lot of flex time over the break and its nice have him around just a little bit more. We all really enjoy the break. Trevor did ask almost everyday if he was going back to school yet but we tried to keep him entertained at home.
Love when you catch them doing something productive and not destructive :).
Trevor came up with his own CrossFit workout over the break. The original workout was
Run 10 minutes
10 burpees
11 push ups
run 12 minutes
11 burpees
10 push ups

But after the first set of running, burpees, and push ups he changed it to whats on the white board.
He literally ran around house for a full ten minutes, taking a couple water breaks. It was impressive. He wrote "seconds" on the board.

We went to the Fernbank Museum as a family. Dave had never gone with us so we decided to take him before our pass expires in a couple months. It doesn't change exhibits that often so the boys were able to show Dave around and show him their favorite parts.
Dinosaurs are always the first stop.
Then we went through the "fear" exhibit.

They were putting their fingers in a tube to see if they would get an electric shock.

The boys were both very brave. I wouldn't even put my finger in there!
At the end of the fear exhibit they had a fun little photo op where you could hold up different signs and props. Trevor especially thought that was fun.

One more photo op with dinosaurs!
