Logan has been such a character lately. He's really starting to show his personality. He's very opinionated about what he does and does not like, even though he can only say a few words. He uses other channels of communication, such as glares, scream fits, pulling you where he wants to go, pulling up on your shoulders to get you to stand up, and shaking his head yes or no.
He has love/hate relationship with this helmet. He always wants it on, and it can't just be on unbuckled, you have to buckle it up, but then he gets so mad because he can't get it off. Its a real fun game we play :).
He almost always falls asleep in the car if its after 11 am and usually he doesn't take his nap until 1 pm, but maybe he would prefer an earlier nap...
We watch some of our friends kids every now then, and one night they all wanted to play dress up. It was pretty cute with all of them running around with blankets on their heads.
Since the weather has been so unbearably cold lately, I told the kids to the mall to ride the train, play in the play place, and ride the carousel. They definitely were so excited about the train. Logan kept saying choo choo the whole ride, and Trevor would repeat the conductor saying All Aboard!
Trevor was so kind to remember to take my picture.
Just another time at the "T" store aka Target. Trevor absolutely loving the spiderman mask.
Trevor came up with a great idea to add frozen berries to his pancakes. It is now Trevor and Logan's favorite breakfast. Don't mind Trevor's bed head hair :)
This is a new look at our house. Logan is determined to wear underwear just like Trevor. He has to have underwear almost everyday. There is an occasion where he doesn't notice, but most of the time the underwear goes on over the diaper and the onesie so he can it. He is still very interested in going potty every time Trevor goes, but I'm beginning to think he just knows he can naked if he acts like he needs to go potty.
Logan is seriously hilarious. This cowboy hat has been a very necessary accessory. He first found the hat, then brought me his tie to put on to complete the look. This is probably one of my favorite moments with him over the last few weeks.
He definitely thinks he's hilarious!
So Logan may need a haircut, but this was a good day at church. One of our friends so kindly did this to him :). Look closely now, you'll notice not one but two alphapha's.
The other day they pulled out some of our movies and were trying to read them like books. It was pretty cute and they were having such a great conversation about it :). Well, it was mostly Trevor talking, but Logan would look at him and nod as if he was listening.
We went out for a bike ride on Monday the 27th. It was 57 degrees outside, warmer than it has been in weeks, that is without any rain.
Then on Tuesday the 28th the "snowpocalypse" hit Atlanta. Seriously it was 2 inches of snow and the city was wreck! This is a picture of traffic from 1 pm to 11 pm that day. It went from "green" all over to "red all over in less than 2 hours. By the end of the day so many cars had been abandoned because they ran out of gas and probably because some people just gave up on getting home. Some of our friends were in their car for 8+ hours on their commute that usually takes 20 minutes. Talk about crazy. Luckily, we didn't get stuck in the traffic at all and Dave takes the train which was running as normal.
We enjoyed the snow by watching a movie snuggled up on the couch in the morning.
Watching the snow fall while Logan was napping.
Then finally going outside to play in it! The boys thought it was awesome. We didn't really have great winter/snow gear for them, so I just layered them up. The refused to put gloves on at first so I let go out bare handed, then within one minute of touching the snow they came running back screaming and their hands were bright red. It was pretty easy to convince them to put gloves on after that.
Dave and Trevor had a mini campout. They read books by flashlight then went to sleep with one on.
