Our first weekend in DC we went downtown to the National Mall to walk around and our first stop was the Natural History Museum. The kids loved it because there were lots of fake/stuffed animals to check out and of course some dinosaur bones. There wasn't a ton of dinosaur bones but they were advertising for a new section that's opening up just for dinosaurs.
Walking was one of the best parts. Trevor wanted to race and run up and down the long strip of sidewalk. He also loved to sit down on a bench with Dave and let me and Logan get way up ahead, then race to us and come to "get us".

We also took a stroll through Georgetown that evening and spotted Georgetown Cupcakes. We didn't stop to get one because the line was around the corner. I'm not that desperate for a famous cupcake :).
