Gaithersburg Book Festival

This was one of the highlights of the trip that was totally unplanned. Our hotel was right by train tracks and the boys loved to go see the train. The Train Museum and a train stop was just a mile down the road so we thought we could take them over there early Saturday morning. Little did we know that a book festival was also happening there that day.
First up was seeing Clifford the dog. They had all kinds of activities for the kids. They made a jump rope, colored some pictures, had several story times, and they made some fans and other paper crafts. There was all different kinds of food there and lots of authors speaking about their books. It was a super fun all day activity. we were grateful to have found it!
Logan just took his nap in the stroller while Trevor played on the playground.
We also got lots of good books for really cheap. Most of the books were $.50 to $2.00. We stocked up because we sure love to read to these boys.
