Logan turns 3!

We celebrated Logan's birthday by putting up the birthday banners and putting up some streamers in the door way. He was so excited when he woke up and just kept saying, "its my birthday!".
I feel like he doesn't get to be center of attention very often because Trevor is such a talker and takes over whenever you ask a question. But Logan sure enjoys being center of attention when it does happen.

This picture is a perfect description of how things typically go, Logan isn't really ready to open presents, but Trevor is absolutely ready. He is trying to coax Logan into letting him open all the presents, even thought they aren't his to open.

We headed to the Connecticut Science Center for the afternoon. This was Logan's favorite place to go this summer because of the dinosaur exhibit. He would always ask to go the the dinosaur museum with the big, moving dinosaurs. He also loved the water works area and would be happy to stay there for hours.
Logan ended up not feeling very well that evening so we didn't do cake and ice cream. Sad day for him. He did however a few days before his birthday request a pink cake. So we made him a white cake with strawberry icing.

Logan is so fun right now! He definitely has a lot of personality when he gets a chance to showcase it. He loves to tease everybody! He still really loves my hair and plays with it any chance he gets. He tries his best to keep up with Trevor and do everything like his big brother. He is very particular about the way his clothes fit. He will only wear about half of his shirts. When you put on a shirt he doesn't like, he will yell "sumting wrong, sumting not right". He is also particular about his shoes, he does not like them to be too tight. He loves to do a nightly naked run and sing the song "shake your booty", its pretty dang cute. He has really loved to read books, over and over again. One day I think I read the same book to him at least 6 times right in  a row. His favorite breakfast is a chocolate smoothie, aka a protein peanut butter smoothie. He knows all of his colors and shapes and a lot of animals. His favorite show is Wild Kratts. His favorite activity to going on a hike or a walk. He loves to be outside and often tries to escape. Were working on him waiting until he has grown up with him before he can go outside. But sometimes he is just a little impatient. He is very resourceful. If he wants something, especially something to eat, he will figure out a way to get it himself if you don't respond immediately to his requests. We sure love our Logan and so grateful he is ours. I can't believe he's three, sometimes I feel like he grew up overnight.
