I met Dave's sisters Edon and Lindsay and Jordan's wife Kelli in Boston for a girls weekend. The weather was great for us. It was high 60's and partly cloudy, beautiful for all the walking and exploring we did. The first day we went to the Boston Temple and Concord, Massachussetts.

In Concord, we visited Louisa May Alcott's home and the Orchard House. We saw Ralph Waldo Emerson's home, Walden Pond, and the Munse house where the first shot was fired in the Revolutionary War.

We went to the Harvard campus and spent some time walking around. 

Boston Gardens

We went to the Boston Public Library. It was an interesting building. Half was from the 18th century and the other half was from the 21st century. It was beautiful and enormous. 

We went to the Trinity church and participated in Eucharist. 

We had dinner on the top of a building with a great view of the city. We ended the evening with Cheesecake from the Cheesecake Factory.

On our last day we visited MIT's campus and found a great museum gift shop with awesome science kits, experiments, books, and trinkets. 

Now back to reality with these kiddos!

Savannah started Joy school with 6 other little friends. She absolutely loves it!

Logan put his shinguards on Dave and I and said we were Baymax 2.0 from Big Hero Six.

Dave and I did a competition in September called Project Uplift. It was a team of 4. Our other teammates are also coaches at our gym. It was super fun and we ended up taking 6th out of 36 teams.

When I got home from Boston, this was one of the treasures I found. Floss wrapped around about one million times.

I took the kids to the Bacon Elementary fall festival. They love going to this! We started out with face painting. They spent a lot of time on the bounce houses and Trevor even tried out rock climbing.

One morning before school, they had a mom and muffins activity. It was super fun to meet some of Trevor and Logan's friends and see them at school.
