Last days and goodbyes in Connecticut

We went to the town pool with some friends from church. My sister sent us a cute little swimsuit for Savannah and fit her perfectly. Savannah loves the water and loves being outside, or just on the move in general.

Trevor did belly flops for a good hour at the pool. He loves swimming!

Logan is probably the biggest fish of all the kids. If there is water anywhere that is where he will be also. Its hard to get him out of the pool, even for a snack. Which snacks are an important part of his life. He constantly says "I need a nack."

Dave is pretty good at this Dad thing. He always makes time for them everyday.

Logan is pretty worn out with our busy summer. He took a nap every single day without hesitation. He was always up for a good adventure, but was always ready for an afternoon nap.

We said goodbye to Trevor's good buddy at church, Rowan. They were the same age and we were able to have a couple play dates with him and his mom. Trevor loves meeting new people and especially loves having friends. I'm so grateful we were able to have a few friends this summer, even though we were in a temporary situation.

A blueberry muffin smoothie.

There was a library in West Hartford that was basically a mini childrens museum that I loved to go to. It was a quiet place that the kids were perfectly entertained and I could even skim through a book in between the Mommy look at this and I need to go potty breaks.

Trevor loves having a baby sister. He often requests to hold her and play with her.
 Love these kiddos.
Savannah turned 5 months!!! 5 months! What is happening to my baby.

She is sitting up on her own so well and is content to sit up with a toy and watch her brothers play. She is sincerely happy and cheerful most of the time. Such a blessing. Now if we could just get her sleeping through the night. At this point, she was still up every three hours. I could not wait for her to get her own room so that we all can get better sleep.

Logan wearing Daddy's shoes before we head off to church. We had 1:00 church in Connecticut and about half the time we were lucky enough to have Logan and Savannah napping during Sacrament meeting. So then we just had Trevor and it was much easier to have him sit quietly and listen because we were available to answer questions he had as people were talking.

One of the best part of where we lived, there was a sonic less than a mile away and right next to the freeway. We probably went there way too often but it was a fun stop for all, especially in afternoon during happy hour the boys could have their own slushie. On I miss Sonic.

 More blueberry smoothies.
Wearing all of Daddy's shoes on hands and feet. Silly boys.

There was a park not to far from Dave's work. It was a great place to go in the morning after we took Dave to work. Pratt & Whitney sponsored the park so their logo was on the playground and Trevor thought that was really cool that is was like Daddy' work.

Playing in the sand. They are ALWAYS found in the sand.
 Riding the motorcycle.

She was usually found asleep in the car seat after a long morning out at the park.
We made one last evening out to Six Flags. We went to the water park first then our next stop was the tea cups.
Then on to the covered wagons.

Savannah and I hanging out while we watch the boys ride the rides.

We went on one last hike on our exercise trail. Logan found a really big stick. He was very proud!

Working on our pull ups.

Dave attempting a muscle on the ropes course.

 Savannah on the hike.

Trevor's silly faces. He seems to love doing weird things with his tongue and hands.

Happy and dirty faces after our hike.
