November was a good month. The weather was still surprisingly warm so were going to parks a few times a week.
Savannah has a little buddy named Joel. I usually watch him one morning a week, then his mom takes Savannah once a week too. So Joel and Savannah have become pretty good friends. We celebrated his 2nd birthday by going to the park with friends and having cupcakes.
Savannah and Joel playing the piano together.
Dave was working on a project for our play room in the new house. We wanted to have the playroom ready first when we moved in so we spent a lot of time thinking and planning what we wanted to do. He came up with a magnet board with PVC connections and plastic tubing so the kids could build marble tunnels. The magnets he ordered were pretty strong though, so he had to be careful while he was glueing them on that they wouldn't touch. Hence, all the cereal boxes and random stuff to keep them from touching.
We had our first snow fall and the kids absolutely loved it. After school they immediately went outside and played in the snow until it was dark and so cold they were shivering.
Savannah likes to look at the snow, but she gets a little unsure when she has to touch it.
I love that Trevor can read. I really love it when he reads to Logan and Savannah. Its so great to watch and listen.
Savannah absolutely loves to cook. She wants to get right in there and help mix, stir, add ingredients, etc. She does not like to feel like she's missing out.
From sad....
to happy in a matter of seconds. Spaghetti is one of her favorites.
And Yogurt.
We went to Utah again in November for Thanksgiving.
The Brough boys made homemade rootbeer.
Savannah went through a little phase where she loves to sit on the couch with someone and both of you have to be covered by her blanket, aka her "B". It was Grandma Brough's turn to enjoy!
And I learned something new over Thanksgiving, my 61-year-old dad can do the splits!
