We went on a cruise with our good friends the Stokers and the Ereksons. It was really fun and relaxing. We enjoyed the break from life. It was so great to come home to lots of hugs and kisses from our kids. Although, I was exhausted after only a couple days back home. ;)
Meeting up at the hotel before getting on the cruise ship.
We walked around San Juan the first morning. We stopped to eat some good local food.
Mark, Mike, and Dave
There was an old fort and cemetery right on the shore that we ventured around.
Our first stop was St. Thomas. From there we took a ferry to St Johns and headed to the beach to do some snorkeling. It was our first time snorkeling and it kind of freaked me out, but it was cool.
On the walk back to the cruise ship we saw all of these iguanas on the boardwalk.
Taxi ride to the ferry
The boys made up their own games on the beach.
Formal night on the cruise ship
Heidi and Mark
Monica and Mike
We went to St Kitts and rented scooters. It was super fun to go exploring on our own. I think this was my favorite stop.
Holding monkeys
Down my black rock on St Kitts. A spot where there is volcanic rock at the shore.
Cruising the island
hip.
In Barbados we went to see some caverns.
Playing mini golf on the ship
And shuffle board...lots of shuffle board. Super fun!
In St. Lucia, we went to the botanical gardens. There were lots of beautiful plants and flowers to see and a small waterfall at the end. St Lucia had big mountains and a long, winding drive up and over the mountain.
We took a water taxi back to the cruise s
We also played soccer a couple nights with the crew members. Heidi and Monica were great sports to watch Mike, Mark, Dave, and I play.
Oh these pictures had us laughing so hard. The photographers was trying to be so serious and we just couldn't hold it together.
We went to the game shows every night and had a great time.
Watching the sun set on our last night.
And we ended the trip at the airport with a game of "Names"
It was quite entertaining and a great way to wrap up a great trip with some of our favorite people!
Coming home...the kids really wanted to build a fort. And then they wanted to keep it up for a week.
